Training School on Hydrogen for Clean Energy: From production to real-world use

The University of Luxembourg, coordinator of the LuxHyVal project, will host a Hydrogen Training School from 8 to 10 September 2026 at its Belval Campus in Luxembourg.
This three-day event will offer participants a comprehensive overview of the hydrogen value chain, exploring how hydrogen can support the transition to clean energy—from production to real-world applications.
The programme will combine theoretical and practical perspectives, including:
- Training sessions on hydrogen technologies and systems
- Interactive workshops
- Insights into policy and regulatory frameworks
- Exploration of hydrogen valleys and real-world ecosystems
- Networking opportunities with experts from academia and industry
- Site visits and practical demonstrations
- Discussions on public perception, social acceptance, and stakeholder engagement
The training school is designed for students, researchers, and professionals interested in hydrogen and the energy transition, aiming to bridge the gap between research and real-world implementation.
The event is organised by the University of Luxembourg in collaboration with several European projects, including LuxHyVal, HyWay, and GreenSkHY, highlighting the importance of collaboration across initiatives to accelerate the development of hydrogen ecosystems.
Participation is free of charge and available both online and in person. Due to limited capacity, on-site participation will be prioritised for applicants with relevant backgrounds and demonstrated interest.
